Adele Pregnant With First Child Fathered by Simon Konecki

Updated: It has been reported that Adele has given birth to a baby boy around Mid-October. Her spokesperson refused to confirm the details saying, "We are not releasing a statement at this time. No comment."

I am torn. Torn whether I should be happy or sad because Adele is pregnant with her first child. I should be happy because a child is a blessing in every family, but I am also sad because we can expect that her next album will be delayed further. Adele's third album feels like long overdue, but I have to accept this fact already since she'll gonna have a little angel of her own as she revealed last June 29, 2012.

Adele personally announced it over her website, saying, "Im delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx."

This is certainly a big news for all of us Adele fans.

Simon, or Simon Konecki in full, is Adele's ongoing boyfriend. The child will be Adele's first, but not for Simon since he already has a five-year old daughter with his former wife. They first met last summer and was currently dating for a year now. That's just a nice anniversary gift they could get, I believe.

This is of course a dream come true for Adele because rumor has it that Adele wanted to be pregnant before 2012 ends and start a family of her own, after finally finding the goodness of having someone to love and be loved back the way she deserves. I am happy for her, of course, after what we have heard how almost depressing and miserable her life had been as reflected in her latest album 21.

Just like her third and upcoming album, her life will be having a happy tune to it as predetermined by her pregnancy. Earlier this year, a source shared to Daily Star that "the pair have spoken about children and it's something they both very much want in the future. Simon already has a five-year-old daughter from his previous marriage with Clary, whom Adele has met and absolutely adores."
