To tease fans of the upcoming releases of his new graphic novels, Rick Riordan posted numerous pictures related to the graphic novel versions of Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Sea of Monsters and The Kane Chronicles: The Red Pyramid. He let his fans take a closer look on the design process of making The Red Pyramid graphic novel, while posting the cover for The Sea of Monsters.
The Red Pyramid graphic novel will be released on October 2, 2012 -- same release date as of the third book in The Heroes of Olympus series, The Mark of Athena. This will be a grand day indeed for his fans, but will cause thinner wallets for their parents. I am not really in to graphic novels these days. That is why I'll just wait for the original books in the series.

Riordan also gives us a sneak peek of the next graphic novel in the Percy Jackson series. He posted on his tumblr the cover art for The Sea of Monsters, which will hit bookstores on July 2, 2012:

Do you think these graphic novels as worth buying? Isn't knowing the story in its original form enough to satisfy our voracious reading needs? But as long as you have a lot of money to buy these, there's no problem, I guess.
