Hunger Games: Catching Fire Shows Off Capitol Coutre In The Capitol Portraits aka Character Posters

The latest trends of viral marketing to promote feature films are larger than life. They are in fact more realistic and much-awaited than real life propagandas that even the sequel to Hunger Games, the much-awaited Catching Fire, uses its undeniable power to promote the upcoming movie.

In the form of a magazine, the Capitol Portraits that will serve as character posters will be released around the internet and will eventually find their way home on Capitol Coutre official viral website, the magazine website that is supposed to bring the spotlight on the latest in Panem's Capitol fashion and couture.

So far here are the new Capitol Portraits that have been released online for your consideration and subscription (Spring issue is on the way):

Effie Trinket

Hunger Games: Catching Fire Capitol Portraits

Head to heel in couture, Effie enchants in an exploding silhouette of chiffon and organza blooms. Never one to waver in her fashionable footwear, her heel-less boots are shod with a golden horse-shoe platform.

Caesar Flickerman

Panem's favorite interviewer gets his own Capitol Portrait. Notice that he has changed his hair color from the nice and bold blue one to this brooding rooster comb-ish do. Don't forget his lusterrific attire that certainly draws everyone's attention.

Haymitch Abernathy

IGN has just revealed the last Capitol Portrait will be of Woody Harrelson's Haymitch Abernathy accompanied by the following synopsis:

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.

Cinna

If it weren't for the simple swipe of his signature gold eyeliner, you'd almost never know that Cinna hails from the garish Capitol of Panem. That's the opening that introduces our favorite designer. Posted over People Mag, Cinna has graced the fourth and surely not the last of the Capitol Portaits. The article describe how he will garb District 12's winning and paired champion as they tour around Panem.

Katniss Everdeen

The only one standing, so far. The tribute from District 12, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), graces the fifth Capitol Portrait exclusively revealed in MSN Movies. The article also gives some details regarding Capitol Couture:

The Capitol Couture site debuted in January 2012, and is "run" by the Capitol. It has kicked off the "Catching Fire" excitement with the Capitol Portraits—prior to Katniss, we've seen Effie Trinket and Caesar Flickerman and Haymitch Abernathy and Cinna. The site's authenticity is vouched for by the fine print at the bottom, stating, "Capitolcouture.pn is a Capitol Sanctioned Source for Fashion & Culture. Lic. 741-20."

Victor Beetee

The victor from District 3 has find its way on one of the fansites for the Hunger Games series. Beetee aka “Volts,” got his very own Capitol Portait.

Johanna Mason

A new Capitol Portrait has been released at Huffington Post. Played by Jena Malone, Johanna is the last living Hunger Games winner from District 7. The character makes quite an entrance in Suzanne Collins' novel, stripping off her clothes while on an elevator with Katniss and Peeta.

Peeta Mellark

Peeta Mellark played by Josh Hutcherson looks shick as his Capitol Portrait emerged on Perez Hilton.
He is wearing attire that matches Katniss's gown. Perez are all praises for Peeta, saying he is thrilled to EXCLUSIVELY bring you the hottest loaf of Peeta this side of Panem!

Gale Hawthorne

Pop Sugar was given the honor to showcase Gale Hawthorne's Capitol Portrait. Panem's favorite hopeless romantic is even more unfortunate-looking than ever before.

The Hunger Games' official Capitol portraits are being unveiled for this week, and we are thrilled to officially debut this very handsome image of Gale. In the portrait, Gale holds one white rose, which holds symbolism in the series.

Finnick Odair

Finnick Odair gets a chance to show off his beautiful face on the lastest Capitol Portrait, featuring a weird Capitol Coutre design. Hollywood Crush simply lived up to their name when they were given the exclusive look on the character played by Sam Claflin.

President Snow

Donald Sutherland as President Snow in the final Capitol Portrait for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Need I say more?
