Rick Riordan Reveals Official The House Of Hades Cover Art, Plus The Synopsis

Updated: Rick Riordan reveals title of the last book in The Heroes of Olympus series.

The fun never stops for our Heroes of Olympus demigods in its fourth installment. The Mark of Athena left us with a very teasing cliffhanger that paves way to the excitement for the penultimate book in the series. And this time our favorite characters will go to the depths of Tartarus to fulfill the prophecy!

Here is what Rick Riordan has to say about that, "Working through 2nd draft of House of Hades. Still a long way to go, but it's coming along! And, yes, you will get some scenes in Tartarus." Can't really wait to buy and read this installment.

Here is the Heroes of Olympus Book 4: The House of Hades cover in its full glory.

House of Hades cover

I always thought that The Mark of Athena cover art was the best, but Jonn Rocco simply outdid himself by crafting this amazing new cover art for The House of Hades (HoH). The cover has one of the darker themes in the series, showing off our unfortunate and frayed-looking Percabeth.

The cover was revealed during the Book Expo America, same with the cover of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets special edition.

Updated: Also we have in our hands the House of hades cover for UK edition.

"Percy Jackson's deadliest adventure yet."

Synopsis

At the conclusion of The Mark of Athena, Annabeth and Percy tumble into a pit leading straight to the Underworld. The other five demigods have to put aside their grief and follow Percy's instructions to find the mortal side of the Doors of Death. If they can fight their way through Gaea's forces, and Percy and Annabeth can survive the House of Hades, then the Seven will be able to seal the Doors both sides and prevent the giants from raising Gaea. But, Leo wonders, if the Doors are sealed, how will Percy and Annabeth be able to escape?

They have no choice. If the demigods don't succeed, Gaea's armies will never die. They have no time. In about a month, the Romans will march on Camp Half-Blood. The stakes are higher than ever in this adventure that dives into the depths of Tartarus.

Updated: The House of Hades will hit bookshelves on October 8, 2013.

Rightly said. The cover is a conundrum on its own. IT's so twisted yet beautiful as well... thanks for stopping by.

Water will definitely help them survive. But we are not for sure that Tartarus has an everlasting supply of it. Even then we can see that Percy and Annabeth is already struggling despite the healing properties of water (thanks to Percy's being a son of Poseidon).
