Concerns On The Final Turbo Movie Poster By Dreamworks (He's Fast. They're Furious.)

The lastest poster of Dreamwork's Turbo, starring Ryan Reynolds, may as well catch your attention with a very nice tag line. He's Fast. They're Furious.

Funny as it may sound, many might surely be furious about this very familiar tagline as it nearly resembles one of the most well-known car-racing movie franchise out there: The Fast & the Furious. It's funny how the movie's logo quite resembled that of the latter's as well. Personally I hope the similarities end there, because I don't wanna see another copy cat coming our way. I heard some complained that the story might as well be a chunk of Disney Pixar's Cars!

Despite these skeptical concerns, the movie is doing very well. We've seen the trailer and it's nothing short of thrill, fun and excitement. Just like it's latest poster that you can see below.

Dreamworks' Turbo He's Fast. They're Furious.

Synopsis

Turbo is an ordinary garden snail with an impossible dream: to become the fastest snail in the world. When a freak accident gives him extraordinary speed, Turbo sets out to try to make his dream come true.

Catch Turbo if you can in cinemas on July 19, 2013.

  1. They obviously did that on purpose though? Like theres a difference between pointing out the similarities between this movie + Cars (of which there is only one.... its a movie about racing) and the fact that the tagline is an obvious parody on the fast and the furious. They're not saying its going to be exactly like The Fast and the Furious, its just a joke. Maybe not a very funny joke, but thats all it is.

  2. Hi Christoph, I agree with you. Let's just hope The Fast and the Furious won't take it too seriously, because as far as I am concerned the joke is very effective and very catchy.
