Darren Aronofsky's Noah Boasts 13 Fantastic, New Behind The Scene Stills

Apocalyptic movies are a hit in this day and age, maybe because every one of us is excited to see and experience the end of the world. It's so mainstream that the biblical deluge story of Noah does not even escape the attention of the movie industry.

Simply titled as Noah, this upcoming apocalyptic movie is directed and written in part by Darren Aronofsky. Matthew Libatique will be the master of cinematography, so expect some great visual delights from this one. To play the biblical Noah and his kin are Anthony Hopkins, Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Douglas Booth, Logan Lerman, Emma Watson, and Ray Winstone.

Synopsis

Noah is a close adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah’s Ark. In a world ravaged by human sin, Noah is given a divine mission: to build an Ark to save creation from the coming flood. The screenplay was written by Darren Aronofsky and Ari Handel and revised by Academy Award®-nominated screenwriter John Logan (Gladiator, Hugo). Scott Franklin and Aronofsky of Protozoa Pictures, along with Mary Parent of Disruption Entertainment, will produce the film. The film will be executive produced by Ari Handel (Black Swan), Arnon Milchan of New Regency and Chris Brigham (Inception, Argo).

Darren Aronofsky's Noah is set to be released in cinemas on March 28, 2014.
