And now that a movie adaptation is coming our way, it strengthens even further my desire to read the book, as well as my shame that I unintentionally forgo the chance read this book before it hits cinemas. I don't wanna be labeled as just someone jumping on the bandwagon.
If you loved watching Life of Pi, then maybe this will also tickle your mind since the movie is created by the same studio as the former. You can watch the new trailer of The Book Thief, starring Sophie Nélisse, Geoffrey Rush And Emily Watson.
Synopsis
While subjected to the horrors of WWII Germany, young Liesel finds solace by stealing books and sharing them with others. Under the stairs in her home, a Jewish refuge is being sheltered by her adoptive parents.
Also, an official The Book Thief movie still has been released earlier and you can see it below. Can you guess what's the title of the book that is propped open on the book stand?
And here is another one we've seen from the trailer.
