Michael Bay is still hot for Transformers that an original trilogy cannot satiate his "artistic" whims. He is planning to whip up another trilogy with a new set of main characters because (1) the original cast got tired of the series, (2) he doesn't want audience to get bored, and (3) he wanted to introduce new Transformers.
The best the we can get so far is the rumored (or confirmed) participation of Dinobots in saving the fate of our world. I am not quite sure how dinosaur-like robots will look like in the modern times just as the impact of the scorpion- and panther-like robots in the previous movies did.
Mark Wahlberg will play the lead character and he will be joined by Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci, Sophia Myles, T. J. Miller, Titus Welliver and Li Bingbing.
