Movie adaptations are certainly the hot trend in the recent years. That is why not even distant sounding literature escape the fate of making their way to the big screen. One such example is the 2000 science fiction novel by Michel Faber called Under the Skin, a book that is not known to me until now.

The book has received some positive reviews from readers that when it was green lit for an adaptation, they were able to hook Scarlett Johansson for the main role. An Avengers hottie and versatile actress to call in some audience, how is that?
