Watching period movies are a wonderful experience for me, seeing the culture, the mode and ways of life back then makes me wonder what if I was born in that era. But what if that period movie is based on a real story? I guess that is the kind where I call tear drops of heaven, something that I shouldn't miss.
Sometimes, compliance with what society expects is such a hard thing to do, but can you do since that is what most people find as acceptable. There, at most times, lies the problem why most people couldn't bloom to their full potential... society is just so strong a force that you enmesh the way you live your life around it. That's mostly the story of Dido Elizabeth Belle, from whom this movie was based.
Watch the trailer of Belle, based on a true story of Dido Elizabeth Belle.
