DreamWorks Animation's Mr. Peabody & Sherman Trailer Relives The Classic In 3D

DreamWorks Animation settles with the movie adaptation of the popular cartoon TV show, The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show based on Peabody's Improbable History by Ted Key. This movie is the studio's 28th feature-length offering and the first of the three movies it is going to release for the year 2014.

Directed by Rob Minkoff and written by Craig Wright, Mr. Peabody & Sherman stars Ty Burrell, Max Charles, Ariel Winter, Stephen Colbert, Leslie Mann, Patrick Warburton, Stanley Tucci, Allison Janney, Mel Brooks, Lake Bell, Zach Callison and Dennis Haysbert.

Synopsis

Mr. Peabody (voiced by Ty Burrell) is a business titan, inventor, scientist, Nobel Laureate, gourmand, two-time Olympic medalist, and genius… who also happens to be a dog. Using his most ingenious invention, the WABAC machine, Mr. Peabody and his adopted boy Sherman (Max Charles) hurtle back in time to experience world-changing events first-hand and interact with some of the greatest characters of all time. But when Sherman breaks the rules of time travel, our two heroes find themselves in a race to repair history and save the future, while Mr. Peabody may face his biggest challenge yet – being a parent.
