Walt Disney Pictures Releases Official Muppets Most Wanted Poster, Stills And Synopsis

In less than six months Muppets Most Wanted, the much awaited not-so-direct sequel to the 2011 The Muppets, will finally grace theaters to bring classic laughter, antics, and fun to your summer. Amy Adams and Jason Segel may not be the center of the spotlight this time, as Ty Burrrel, Ricky Gervais, and Tina Fey take over their main cast seats.

But don't worry, Walter, the Muppets’ biggest fan, is back for this around the globe adventure, but we are not yet sure if he'll play the good or bad guy here. Another character will be introduced and he looks very much like Kermit -- yes another frog named Constantine will certainly steal the show. But what does his participation means for the rest of the Muppets?

Synopsis

Disney’s "Muppets Most Wanted" takes the entire Muppets gang on a global tour, selling out grand theaters in some of Europe’s most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid and London. But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine—the World’s Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit—and his dastardly sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two, portrayed by Ricky Gervais. The film stars Tina Fey as Nadya, a feisty prison guard, and Ty Burrell as Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon. Disney’s “Muppets Most Wanted” is directed by James Bobin and produced by David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman.
