I'm a fan of Roland Emmerich's apocalyptic films. The human drama with a little crowd psychology makes the story relatable and epic at scale. Everyone is quite excited and curious to watch the future inevitability of what will happen to all humanities...
It's nice to see the probable future, but it's quite amazing to see the past at the same time -- a biblical past at that. Darren Aronofsky is giving us his interpretation of the biblical event known as the deluge in his upcoming movie, Noah.
Here is the trailer of Darren Aronofsky's Noah, starring Russell Crowe.
Here is the UK version of the trailer.
Synopsis
Subject to divine visions foretelling the end of the world, Noah attempts to tell his people to cease their mistreatment of the Earth in order to be saved. No one listens to his warnings, and Noah and his family are cast out to fend for themselves in the wilderness. Noah approaches a race of giant six-armed angels known as the "Watchers" to rally them to his cause.
Darren Aronofsky's Noah will hit cinema's on November 28, 2014.
