Peter Jackson Discusses The Musical Score On The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, Production Diary 14

For the last production diary video of this year, Peter Jackson takes us on tour on how the scoring of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is done. If you've watch the movie, then you can immediately conclude that the movie has one of the most suspenseful and dark themes that can be compared with the haunting scores of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.

We all know Howard Shore is back to put some musical depth on the movie and it's great having him back to preserve the continuity and tone of the entire series. Of course we should also put our regards to the orchestra and band that makes Shore's music a reality to our senses.

Here is the latest production video for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
