The actor Billy Boyd, who plays the hobbit Peregrin "Pippin" Took in The Lord of The Rings, returns to Tolkien's world movie adaptation. Not as part of the cast though, but the front-liner for the Official Soundtrack of the movie. There is no surprise there actually as we have heard his sweet little voice when he sang for Denethor, Steward of Gondor, as he dine.
He has written and sang the song titled The Last Goodbye, which is the penultimate track of the 21-track, 2-disc standard edition of the OST album.
Listen to Billy Boyd sing The Last Goodbye for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies official soundtrack.
You can also listen to the previews of the songs in the album.
