Cover Reveal For 'Library Of Souls' (Third Novel Of Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children Series) By Ransom Riggs

One of my much awaited cover reveal of the year is on! The fantastic over of Library of Souls by Ransom Riggs is happening right now. It still follows the usual mix: vintage photo with an eerie subject in the middle of it all.

This is already the third novel in Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children series and I hope it isn't the last. You ask me why? Because it's just so good, having a great story complemented by eerie and sometimes scary vintage photos inside. The way Ransom Riggs weaves these photos into the story makes it even more surreal and appealing. This is not a picture book intended for childrena nd the weak at heart. You are fore-warned.

Check out the cover of Library of Souls by Ransom Riggs.

Katharine McPhee's 'Lick My Lips' Will Make You Click & Finger-Snap To The Beat

It's been a while since we've last heard from Katharine McPhee. I've been nurturing my love for her in the past couple years, especially when she starred at Smash, a musical TV series that was unfortunately axed after it's second season. So I've been longing for a new single or song, much more a new album, from her.

Lick My Lips by Katharine McPhee

And now as a teaser, she has released the first single from her upcoming fourth studio album, Hysteria. Titled Lick My Lips, the song'll definitely make you wanna go with the beat. This new music video has been long in the waiting since she first announced it in her Instagram account last April.

Watch Katharine McPhee in the new Lick My Lips music video.

No further details have been given yet about her fourth studio album, but it will definitely be released on July 21, 2015. The complete list of tracks of Hysteria and what-nots are as of now in the wraps -- locked and sealed. It's been five years since we have a full dose of a studio album from her, so I'm gonna bet it'll gonna be worth the wait.

Synopsis

A master storyteller at his best—the O. Henry Prize winner Stephen King delivers a generous collection of stories, several of them brand-new, featuring revelatory autobiographical comments on when, why, and how he came to write (or rewrite) each story.

Since his first collection, Nightshift, published thirty-five years ago, Stephen King has dazzled readers with his genius as a writer of short fiction. In this new collection he assembles, for the first time, recent stories that have never been published in a book. He introduces each with a passage about its origins or his motivations for writing it.

There are thrilling connections between stories; themes of morality, the afterlife, guilt, what we would do differently if we could see into the future or correct the mistakes of the past. “Afterlife” is about a man who died of colon cancer and keeps reliving the same life, repeating his mistakes over and over again. Several stories feature characters at the end of life, revisiting their crimes and misdemeanors. Other stories address what happens when someone discovers that he has supernatural powers—the columnist who kills people by writing their obituaries in “Obits;” the old judge in “The Dune” who, as a boy, canoed to a deserted island and saw names written in the sand, the names of people who then died in freak accidents. In “Morality,” King looks at how a marriage and two lives fall apart after the wife and husband enter into what seems, at first, a devil’s pact they can win.

Magnificent, eerie, utterly compelling, these stories comprise one of King’s finest gifts to his constant reader—“I made them especially for you,” says King. “Feel free to examine them, but please be careful. The best of them have teeth.”

The Bazaar of Bad Dreams by Stephen King will be released on November 3, 2015.

Watch Taylor Swift Kick Some Ass In Bad Blood (Featuring Kendrick Lamar) Music video

I've been famished with all things Taylor Swift lately. I mean to say, I've been looking around for more music video from said artist, because I know it would definitely be awesome! And so after weeks of endless teasing a new video has come our way as a supplement to her latest single.

The Bad Blood music video has come our way and as expected it is nothing like her previous videos. The video almost feels like a short film, a story of espionage and ass-kicking action reminiscent of Charlie's Angel and the like.

Watch Taylor Swift do some kick-ass moves in Bad Blood (ft. Kendrick Lamar) music video.

And just to relive what you just saw, enjoy these fantastic "posters" of the music video.

Bad Blood by Taylor Swift

Bad Blood is the fourth single lifted from Taylor Swift's fifth studio album, 1989. Joseph Kahn directed this ass kicking music video. He also directed the music video for Blank Space, which is the second single lifted from the same album. As you can see in the posters the actresses and actor who have taken part in the video has chosen the name for their own alternate characters. Despite the London's Liverpool Street feel, the video was actually shot in Los Angeles, California on April 9 to 13 of 2015. It premiered during the Billboard Music Awards.

CBS has delighted fans with a new trailer for the upcoming TV series, including a new superhero adaptation following the success of Arrow and Flash. Now it's time for a female lead to take the spotlight and there is no other girl who can own that spot than Supergirl.

Supergirl

Glee alumni are taking the center stage as Melissa Benoist, once a member of New Directions glee club, will take on the lead and titular character. And could you ever forget Grant Gustin, who once rubbed elbows with Benoist on the same set, and now is the lead of Flash, which is nearing its first season finale.

It's not a bird. It's not a plane. It's not a man. It's Supergirl.

Synopsis

Supergirl is an action-adventure drama based on the DC Comics character Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist), Superman’s (Kal-El) cousin who, after 12 years of keeping her powers a secret on Earth, decides to finally embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be. Twelve-year-old Kara escaped the doomed planet Krypton with her parents’ help at the same time as the infant Kal-El. Protected and raised on Earth by her foster family, the Danvers, Kara grew up in the shadow of her foster sister, Alex (Chyler Leigh), and learned to conceal the phenomenal powers she shares with her famous cousin in order to keep her identity a secret.

Years later at 24, Kara lives in National City assisting media mogul and fierce taskmaster Cat Grant (Golden Globe Award winner Calista Flockhart), who just hired the Daily Planet’s former photographer, James Olsen (Mehcad Brooks), as her new art director. However, Kara’s days of keeping her talents a secret are over when Hank Henshaw (David Harewood), head of a super-secret agency where her sister also works, enlists her to help them protect the citizens of National City from sinister threats. Though Kara will need to find a way to manage her newfound empowerment with her very human relationships, her heart soars as she takes to the skies as Supergirl to fight crime. Greg Berlanti (“The Flash,” “Arrow”), Ali Adler, Sarah Schecter and Andrew Kreisberg are executive producers for Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. The pilot was directed by Glen Winter (“Arrow”).

Supergirl will premiere in November and will air every Monday at 8PM, only on CBS.

Jennifer A. Nielsen Names 'Mark Of The Thief' Sequel, Plus Official Cover And Release Date

The Roman adventure is still on for Jennifer A. Nielsen's later series. She has once again unveiled the official cover, title and synopsis of the second book in her Praetor Wars series. Presenting Rise of the Wolf, which continues the quests of Nic that started with Mark of the Thief.

The first book in the series has been long in the waiting for my case as I have just now found a copy in a local bookstore. Imagine how long is that: more or less three months after the original release date. Although it could be a good thing as it entails lesser waiting for me when it comes to the second book.

Check out the cover of Rise of the Wolf by Jennifer A. Nielsen.
