Brief Cases by Jim Butcher
Chicago's enigmatic wizard is back in a new collection of short stories previously published, along with some juicy new ones. Following the success of Side Jobs, Jim Butcher outs his new collection titled Brief Cases. This will definitely keep the rabid and hyperactive fans at bay after waiting for quite some time for the next Dresden Files novel (Peace Talks) or the second book in the Cinder Spires series (The Olympian Affair). Most of the stories included are not new if you have been following Butcher's stories in anthologies, but what is great about this new collection is it will include new ones and commentary...

It's been, what, almost 10 years since the release of Mamma Mia! movie musical and it is still as relevant to me as it were released yesterday (and I did actually watch it yesterday). Here We Go Again is directed by Ol Parker and stars Christine Baranski, Pierce Brosnan, Dominic Cooper, Colin Firth, Andy Garcia, Lily James, Amanda Seyfried, Stellan Skarsgård, Julie Walters, Cher, and Meryl Streep. Cover Reveal: 'Spinning Silver' By Naomi Novik Offers An Exciting Retelling Of Rumpelstiltskin

Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik
It's almost the end of the year and I haven't heard anything new from author Naomi Novik, and I got a little uncomfortable. See's been one of the top authors on my list to read since the release of her first Temeraire book, His Majesty's Dragon. She has been so secretive as of late and her latest book, Uprooted, released in 2015 is not helping her cause. It was such an enjoyable read and I can't get enough of her novels. Luckily, I found an update on the Verge, detailing her upcoming novel, Spinning Silver, which is a retelling of Rumpelstiltskin and written in the same vein as Uprooted. Check out the cover of...

"Ocean's Eight" Trailer Is Here! Starring Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, w/ Rihanna & Helena Bonham Carter

Ocean's Eight
The Ocean's 11 reboot or spin-off with an all-female twist is, thankfully, gracing the widescreen next year. I am pretty sure they are gearing for yet another trilogy: let's just do the math, shall we? The original trilogy starts with 11 and this one with 8, so if we get their difference we get 3... I am definitely down for an Ocean's 8, 9, and 10 should it come to that reality. But for now let us focus on the trailer and poster of the first one... This Gary Ross-directed movie stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling, Awkwafina, Rihanna, and Helena Bonham Carter. This...

It is based on the novel of the same title by David Levithan and was adapted to screen by Jesse Andrews. This Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Likely Story, and FilmWave feature-legnth...

Release Of 'The Light Of All That Falls' By James Islington Postponed To 2019, Plus Cover Reveal

The Light of All That Falls by James Islington
If, like me, you are eagerly waiting for the mid-2018 release of James Islington's final The Licanius Trilogy book, then you up for some surprise. Most book sellers originally listed the release of The Light of All That Falls by James Islington next year and that is the very reason I pre-ordered it already. Unfortunately I just received an update from the seller that the release date for the book was postponed so I will have to wait until February 2019 before I can have the copy. I cannot complain, of course, because I am not entitled to demand from authors when they are going to release their precious books that...

Carve The Mark by Veronica Roth fans, rejoice! The finale of this fantastic duology has come. The official title, cover, synopsis and release date have been revealed and I can't personally handle the excitement. And it's coming to us on the first quarter on next year. Presenting The Fates Divide by Veronica Roth, the much awaited sequel to Carve The Mark. Cyra Noavek and Akos Kereseth are back and the entanglement of their fates will get tighter and tighter... but, OMG (forgive my language and entitlement), I hate this OCD inducing feeling! The new cover is fantastic but it does not follow the format of the art...

Spot 1980s Easter Eggs In The New 'Ready Player One' Official Trailer, Starring Tye Sheridan

Ready Player One
The long wait for the third Ernest Cline Science Fiction novel may be taking its toll on me. Ready Player One and Armada opened a gateway of nostalgia to most of the books' readers and the expectation for the the next one is very strong (at this point I am not totally sure if this upcoming book is a sequel to Ready Player One or a stand alone SF novel). It's a good thing Ready Player One will have an adaptation coming to the wide screen early next year or there will be war... Ready Player One is directed by Steven Spielberg, one of the icons that made it to the book. But apparently, he has written himself out...

'The Empire Of Ashes' By Anthony Ryan: The Explosive Finale Of The Draconis Memoria Trilogy

The Empire of Ashes by Anthony Ryan
I have come to love Anthony Ryan even more. If you have come across his debut novel called Blood Song then you would certainly know what I am talking about. But a few common things that readers found were that the succeeding books in his first trilogy were getting weaker and weaker, especially the finale (The Queen of Fire) which most of the same readers didn't like that much. I really hope his second trilogy does not suffer the same fate. I have high hopes for his The Draconis Memoria trilogy that I really needed the final book in the series, called The Empire of Ashes, to not suck and be better that its predecessor....

Cover Reveal: 'Restore Me' By Tahereh Mafi Continues The Shatter Me Series

Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi
The Past Will Not Forget Me... says the tag line of the first book in the second arc of the Shatter Me series. Tahereh Mafi is back with a bang almost 4 years after we've last read about Juliette and Warner's story. The recent unveiling of the cover art for the fourth book in the series proves that it remains faithful to the ocular theme of the previous three. The cover, which is almost too color blind since it only features the shade of white and a hue of blue-green, gives off a nostalgic effect of when fans first read Mafi's book. It's simply too good to be true. But at this point you cannot only enjoy the fascinating...
