One of the most prolific and highest-paid actors of the year is at it again. And in yet another adaptation, Dwayne Johnson has scored the top billing and will surely attract a mob of viewers next year when his latest flick hits cinemas. Based on a game of the same name, Rampage has released its gigantic trailer, reminiscent of King Kong, and its equally huge poster.
This Brad Peyton-directed movie stars Dwayne Johnson, Naomie Harris, Malin Akerman, Jake Lacy, Joe Manganiello and Jeffrey Dean Morgan; as well as P.J. Byrne, Marley Shelton, Breanne Hill, Jack Quaid, and Matt Gerald. This New Line Cinema presentation is based from a screenplay by Ryan Engle, Carlton Cuse, Ryan J. Condal, and Adam Sztykiel, with story by Ryan Engle, and adapted from the video game Rampage. The movie is produced by Beau Flynn, John Rickard, Brad Peyton, and Hiram Garcia.

Synopsis
Primatologist Davis Okoye (Johnson), a man who keeps people at a distance, shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry mutates this gentle ape into a raging creature of enormous size. To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered there are other similarly altered animals. As these newly created alpha predators tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.
Rampage will hit cinemas on April 20, 2018.
