'The Anthropocene Reviewed' By John Green Finally Gets An Official Cover

The first non-fiction and 6th book by John Green is almost upon our grasp. In his next book John Green gets personal and reveals his inner thoughts and observations about things. This in turn reveals his hidden and inner workings, something that we can't always get from fiction novels. This is a real-world point of view of things that gives us a facet of the author.

The book is called The Anthropocene Reviewed, which is adapted from John Green's podcast of the same title. The book has been around for pre-order for some time but it is only just recently that we get to see the official cover. And what's more, we will be getting the first edition with the author's signature, so expect some surprise doodle in your copy if you are lucky.

Synopsis

A deeply moving and insightful collection of personal essays from #1 bestselling author John Green.

The Anthropocene is the current geological age, in which human activity has profoundly shaped the planet and its biodiversity. In this remarkable symphony of essays adapted and expanded from his groundbreaking podcast, John Green reviews different facets of the human-centered planet—from the QWERTY keyboard and Halley’s Comet to Penguins of Madagascar—on a five-star scale.

Complex and rich with detail, the Anthropocene’s reviews have been praised as “observations that double as exercises in memoiristic empathy.” John Green’s gift for storytelling shines throughout this artfully curated collection that includes both beloved essays and several all-new pieces exclusive to the book.

The Anthropocene Reviewed by John Green will be released on May 18, 2021.
