Yellowface by R. F. Kuang Synopsis What’s the harm in a pseudonym? F. Kuang in the vein of White Ivy and The Other Black Girl. Authors June Hayward and Athena Liu were supposed...

Official Cover of The Covenant Of Steel Book 3: 'The Traitor' By Anthony Ryan Revealed

The Traitor by Anthony Ryan
I am a little jaded that the US edition for the The Covenant Of Steel series by Anthony Ryan does not have hardcovers, but I am just so thankful that the UK edition does have some gorgeous ones. This means I have to import from Europe to get copies, but it is worth the expense and the long wait. Anthony Ryan has been always on my radar since Blood Song. The ride, at first, may have been a roller-coaster of inconsitent ups and downs, but his succeeding trilogies have cemented his place in the genre. That is why it is a no-brainer that I am so looking forward for the The Traitor, the final book in the aforementioned...

Official Cover Of 'Light Bringer' By Pierce Brown Revealed

Light Bringer by Pierce Brown
One of my most anticipated books is the penultimate (or is it?) Red Rising novel by Pierce Brown called Light Bringer. Sohme time ago the author announced that he will be publishing two more books to follow Dark Age. This is one of those two books, which I have long since pre-ordered, and the other is called Red God, which I keep on searching for so I can pre-order. The former will be released four yers after its predecessor. Long has been the wait, but the official cover of Light Bringer by Pierce Brown has been revealed to excite fans even more. US Edition Cover Reveal: 'The Notorious Scarlett And Browne' By Jonathan Stroud

The Notorious Scarlett and Browne by Jonathan Stroud
It's unfortunate that the US edition of the books in Jonathan Stroud's The Outlaws Scarlett and Browne series are published a couple of months later than their UK counterparts. Take The Notorious Scarlett And Browne, the second book in the series, for example. It will be published nine months after it's initial UK release. It offers a lot of spoilers if you are not careful enough to block any UK reviews and discussions... The only consolation US readers get from time to time is the fantastic covers of the US editions, which vary significantly from its UK counterpart... So it is something to look forward to aside...

The Kylar Chronicles Book 1: 'Night Angel Nemesis' By Brent Weeks Gets Official Cover

Night Angel Nemesis by Brent Weeks
A few years after publishing The Burning White, the finale of the Lightbringer series, author Brent Weeks returns to the Night Angel universe with a sequel series called The Kylar Chronicles. This new series will commence with Night Angel Nemesis, which I am hope will kickstart another trilogy at least. The official cover of Night Angel Nemesis has been unveiled, bringing with it a new visual flavor, which also prompted a fresh set of the cover redesign of the original trilogy--only for paperbacks, sadly, and not for hardcovers. These redesigned paperbacks will be released early next year--a great marketing opportunity...

Official Cover Of The Kithamar Book 2: 'Blade Of Dream' By Daniel Abraham Revealed

Blade of Dream by Daniel Abraham
Orbit has been known to release covers of books that aren't even substantially written yet (or at least I presumed). Take The Thorn of Emberlain by Scott Lynch, for example. The cover was enthusiatically revealed way back in 2015 -- not to mention a publication date was set a year after -- but nearly a decade after the book hasn't come to light... which is understandable because the issues encountered by the author Lynch are understandable. Please take your time, Mr. Scott Lynch. Even the duo James S. A. Corey (in which author Daniel Abraham is half a part of) shared some anecdotal tale to this same effect. I am...

Cover Reveal: 'The Candy Shop War: Carnival Quest' By Brandon Mull

The Candy Shop War: Carnival Quest by Brandon Mull
I always thought and hoped that Brandon Mull's The Candy Shop War series will be a trilogy. As time went by this hope seemed to fade and after nearly a decade I almost totally let go of the idea. That was until he finished and published the last book in his most recent series called Dragonwatch, which in turn a follow-up series to Fablehaven. What a joyful day was that for me when he announced that he's returning to the The Candy Shop War world with a third and final book (hopefully not) which eventually will then be called Carnival Quest. And so a couple of months later the official synopsis and cover have been...

Moon Fall Book 2: 'The Cradle Of Ice' By James Rollins Finally Gets Official Cover

The Cradle of Ice by James Rollins
James Rollins' foray into the post-apocalyptic fantasy genre is a hit among his already considerable established fan-base, and gaining him new ones to boot. Sigma Force is entertaining and are a good read as they can get, but I was in great need of something fresh and new from the author--which I am glad he delievered with The Starless Crown. Rejoice! Because this is not a standalone novel, and we will be getting more. This sage will push and continue on with The Cradle of Ice. To excite you much further, here is the official cover of The Cradle of Ice by James Rollins as revealed by the author on his social media...

A Day of Fallen Night By Samantha Shannon
The surprising yet the equally wanted (or needed) prequel to The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon is almost upon us! Presenting A Day of Fallen Night, which will tackle half-a-century of more magical yet dangerous tales prior to the events of it predecessor. Samantha Shannon is definitely giving us another heavy-weight -- and I mean that literally -- but who is complaining, really? No me, for sure. Samantha Shannon is lucky to have wonderful artists work on the covers of her books: from David Mann doing the covers designs of The Bone Season series, and who continued the tradition with The Priory of...

'The Lost Metal' By Brandon Sanderson Finally Gets Official Cover

The Lost Metal by Brandon Sanderson
For quite some time now, I've been jokingly fooling myself and some of dear Brandon Sanderson's fans that I already have a copy of The Lost Metal by the same author (after travelling into the future and procuring my self a copy). Way back when I was fond of making almost realistic fan covers for upcoming books I created a mock-up of what I thought the cover of his next book will be after studying and investigating the logic in the previous ones just to appease my self and my OCD-riddled brain. I can't even recall now why I chose the maroon-burgundyish motif, which turned out to be the same color preferred by the...
